Satellogic Completes U.S. Redomiciliation to Strengthen Support for Government Missions
We've completed our redomiciliation to the U.S., a key step to better serve U.S. and allied government customers with real-time, high-resolution satellite intelligence. CEO & Co-Founder, Emiliano Kargieman: “This realignment better positions the company to capture high-value".
Satellogic’s EarthView dataset is now openly accessible via Amazon Web Services (AWS), providing researchers with free, scalable access to over 7 million satellite images across five continents. Sponsored by AWS’s Open Data Program, this dataset enables users to analyze high-resolution Earth observation imagery in cloud-optimized formats, without the need for additional storage costs. The EarthView dataset includes data from July 1, 2022, to December 30, 2022, and is available under the CC BY 4.0 license for a variety of applications. The EarthView paper was recently accepted at CV4GEO, a workshop at WACV 2025, providing full details on the dataset and foundation model. We are deeply honored to have Yoshua Bengio, one of the godfathers of AI, and Alexandre Lacoste, Staff Research Scientist at ServiceNow Research, collaborating with Satellogic on this work.
Satellogic and Telespazio Brasil Partner with Brazilian Air Force for Low-Latency Satellite Imagery
We are excited to announce our multi-year agreement with Telespazio Brasil to provide the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) with low-latency, high-resolution satellite imagery for defense and security operations.
Through Satellogic’s NewSat constellation, FAB gains rapid access to sub-meter resolution imagery, enabling real-time monitoring and enhanced situational awareness. This agreement reinforces our commitment to delivering agile and reliable geospatial intelligence.
Intelligence at the Edge: The Future of Earth Observation Is Onboard
We are redefining the future of Earth observation with the launch of the industry’s first AI-first satellite. Built from the ground up to process data in orbit, this breakthrough enables real-time detection, faster decision-making, and radically more efficient bandwidth use. Learn how onboard intelligence is reshaping everything from disaster response to defense.
UzmaSat-1 Reaches Orbit
We are thrilled to announce that UzmaSat-1, a NewSat Mark V satellite, successfully launched on January 15 aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-12 from Vandenberg Space Force Base. It quickly established communication with our ground station network, confirming nominal health and performance. Now fully operational, UzmaSat-1 delivers high-resolution imagery, enhancing real-time data for environmental monitoring, infrastructure management, and disaster response.
The satellite's name honors our multi-year agreement with Uzma to enhance geospatial capabilities in Southeast Asia.
At Satellogic, we’re continually advancing to meet the evolving needs of our users.
We’re pleased to introduce a series of updates designed to enhance your experience and strengthen mission outcomes. These improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation and delivering meaningful solutions that support your success.
Satellogic’s latest imagery of Tartus port in Syria shows a buildup of abandoned military vehicles, stranded as Russian naval access is now restricted. This shift reflects evolving geopolitical dynamics and strategic withdrawal.
