Satellogic EarthView Dataset Now Open on AWS

Satellogic’s EarthView dataset is now openly accessible via Amazon Web Services (AWS), providing researchers with free, scalable access to over 7 million satellite images across five continents. Sponsored by AWS’s Open Data Program, this dataset enables users to analyze high-resolution Earth observation imagery in cloud-optimized formats, without the need for additional storage costs. The EarthView dataset includes data from July 1, 2022, to December 30, 2022, and is available under the CC BY 4.0 license for a variety of applications. The EarthView paper was recently accepted at CV4GEO, a workshop at WACV 2025, providing full details on the dataset and foundation model. We are deeply honored to have Yoshua Bengio, one of the godfathers of AI, and Alexandre Lacoste, Staff Research Scientist at ServiceNow Research, collaborating with Satellogic on this work.

UzmaSat-1 Reaches Orbit

We are thrilled to announce that UzmaSat-1, a NewSat Mark V satellite, successfully launched on January 15 aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-12 from Vandenberg Space Force Base. It quickly established communication with our ground station network, confirming nominal health and performance. Now fully operational, UzmaSat-1 delivers high-resolution imagery, enhancing real-time data for environmental monitoring, infrastructure management, and disaster response.

The satellite's name honors our multi-year agreement with Uzma to enhance geospatial capabilities in Southeast Asia.

At Satellogic, we’re continually advancing to meet the evolving needs of our users.

We’re pleased to introduce a series of updates designed to enhance your experience and strengthen mission outcomes. These improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to innovation and delivering meaningful solutions that support your success.
