Satellogic and Maxar Announce Strategic Tasking Partnership to Enhance U.S. National Security Missions
We have signed a strategic agreement with Maxar that allows them exclusive rights to task Satellogic’s high-revisit satellite constellation. This partnership aims to enhance national security support for the U.S. government and its international allies by combining Satellogic’s cost-effective, high-frequency imagery with Maxar’s very-high-resolution satellite data and AI-powered analytics.
The collaboration enables near real-time monitoring, change detection, and activity tracking across multiple geographies. By integrating our satellites into Maxar’s virtual constellation, the partnership balances cost, revisit rates, and resolution to deliver more comprehensive Earth observation data. This integration strengthens Maxar’s ability to provide actionable intelligence at a global scale, benefiting U.S. and international government partners.
SynMax Expands Partnership With Satellogic to Enhance Energy Sector Monitoring
SynMax has expanded its existing partnership with us to enhance its oil and natural gas production monitoring services. This extended contract will leverage our Earth Observation technology to provide SynMax with real-time satellite imagery and data analytics. These insights are essential for monitoring energy infrastructure and optimizing oil and gas production processes.
The collaboration highlights how space-based data can support critical industry operations by enabling accurate asset monitoring, environmental compliance checks, and operational planning. This partnership demonstrates a growing trend of integrating satellite technology into energy sector operations to boost efficiency and sustainability.
Satellogic Announces $10 Million Private Placement Made By a Single Institutional Investor
We’ve secured a $10 million investment from a single institutional investor—an important milestone as we continue to execute on our U.S. strategy, strengthen our foothold in National Security markets, and expand our global Space Systems opportunities. This capital will help advance our mission, deliver greater value to our customers, and accelerate our growth in 2025.
“The proceeds from this investment in Satellogic will help advance our mission as we continue to focus on our U.S. strategy, the National Security market, and our global Space Systems opportunities,” said Emiliano Kargieman, CEO & Founder.
Satellogic is partnering with Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) and Royce GEO on an 18-month project under the Office of Naval Research’s Slingshot Experimentation Series. The collaboration will showcase NewSat satellites’ ability to support defense technologies through imagery tasking and edge computing.
By integrating an Inter-Satellite Data Relay System (IDRS) into NewSat Mark V satellites, the project aims to reduce data latency for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) missions, enhancing responsiveness and situational awareness in critical defense operations.
“The development and testing of the IDRS solution has the potential to revolutionize satellite communication with faster data transfer, improved responsiveness, and enhanced situational awareness for critical operations.” – Luciano Giesso, VP of Space Systems.
Welcome to the Aleph Platform
Satellogic is thrilled to announce the launch of the Early Access Program (EAP) for Satellogic’s new Aleph Platform, our next-generation geospatial intelligence solution.
Designed to empower users with rapid, affordable, and flexible access to high-resolution Earth imagery, the Aleph Platform is set to redefine the standards for actionable and accessible geospatial data.
To learn more about the upcoming EAP for Aleph please see our website: We will be opening the EAP early in the new year.
Setting New Standards in Satellite Commissioning
Satellogic achieved a record-breaking milestone by integrating its latest satellites into its High-Quality Productive Fleet just 47 days after launching with SpaceX on August 16, 2024. These satellites are now actively capturing and delivering crucial Earth imagery to clients worldwide.
This accomplishment highlights our expertise in end-to-end satellite development, from design and manufacturing to calibration and data optimization. The company credits its commissioning team for maintaining a 100% deployment success rate while continuously refining its systems for enhanced performance.
