Satellogic and OHB sign Memorandum of Understanding

We have signed an MoU with OHB to explore collaborative opportunities to develop advanced Earth Observation data based services, leveraging our growing constellation of 38 satellites in orbit. The agreement underlines our joint commitment to support the use of EO data and products for a greener and more sustainable planet, including applications for day-to-day decision-making in the fields of agriculture, forestry, energy, critical infrastructures, and climate change mitigation.

This collaboration with OHB marks an important milestone in our mission to democratize access to Earth Observation and establishes the foundations for a European integrated data and analytics platform. We are enthusiastic about the opportunities this will offer users to improve their decision-making process through high-revisit, high-resolution data enabled insights in areas ranging from agriculture, urban development, security, and more.

Satellogic - Welcome to Your Teens

Satellogic was founded thirteen years ago in July 2010 by Emiliano Kargieman and Gerardo Richarte. On this anniversary, we take a moment of reflection to look back on the organizational milestones en route to developing the largest commercial constellation of submeter satellites in orbit which grew to 38 satellites as of the June Transporter-8 mission launch.    

Despite how far we have come, we’ve still got a long road ahead of us and our mission remains the same: democratize access to EO Data. With the growth of our constellation, resolution of our imagery and transparently affordable pricing, we’re moving closer than ever to achieving this goal.
