In the first half of 2023, we launched a new satellite model, tested new in-orbit capabilities, and developed a new direct satellite sales opportunity, Space Systems. By the second half of the year, Satellogic had signed its first Space Systems customers as well as some strategic new partners, plus released Rapid Response, our lowest-latency tasking option. Satellogic also began taking action to become a US-based, NOAA-licensed company.
NOAA granted the remote sensing license in November 2023 and we anticipate our re-domiciliation process to the US to be completed shortly in Q1 2024. All these changes have presented their challenges and, now as we begin the new year, great opportunities to deliver affordable, high-quality satellite imagery to more organizations.
Happy New Year!
