Satellogic and Tata Advanced Systems Sign
Space Systems Contract

 

Tata Advanced Systems, India’s leading private sector player for aerospace and defense solutions, signed a strategic contract with Satellogic to establish and develop local space technology capabilities in India. 


“This collaboration will accelerate space capacity building for one of the largest nations in the world with the goal of enabling the advancement of commercial space capabilities and greater access to critical information for a range of applications such as security, sustainability, and energy,” stated Emiliano Kargieman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder at Satellogic. “It’s a great example of what’s possible via the Satellogic Space Systems program,” he added.

Satellogic Receives NOAA License to Expand U.S. Government Business

Following the announcement of Satellogic’s decision to redomicile to the U.S., the company has been granted a remote sensing license by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The license was a critical milestone in establishing an end-to-end U.S. pixel path and expanding support for customers with NOAA requirements.

Multi-Year, Multi-Million Dollar Contract with Uzma

 

Satellogic signed an agreement with Uzma, a leading energy and technology company, to expand access and application of Earth Observation data and satellite technology in Southeast Asia. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Geospatial AI Sdn Bhd, Uzma will leverage tasking access to Satellogic’s constellation, including a state-of-the-art EO satellite designed and manufactured by Satellogic that is planned to be launched in 2024 as “UzmaSAT-1”.
